It was for the best. Ledges was getting terribly trashed, and the outhouse facility was vastly overused by dayhikers. The new sites feature solar powered composting outhouses, tent pads and reservations are now necessary.

The Storm Haven site now can accomodate up to eight tents on prebuilt tent pads--three near the beach and five up on the bluff. A staircase leads from the main trail down to the limestone beach.
