The boulder beach near the Ledges

The trail still follows the clear blue water along boulder beaches and over the tops of the bluffs, but closing Ledges and opening Storm Haven moved the camp another half mile further from Cyprus Lake, making it a little tougher for less serious hikers to get there.

The Bruce Peninsula is a beautiful place to hike. The trail winds through old cedar forests and up and down through numerous valleys of ferns, aspen and other softwoods. It is very similar in some ways to the Pacific Northwest rainforest, and is one of the northernmost rainforests in the world.
