The next morning, we struck camp and headed back up the trail in bright sunshine. We made it back to the Miners Castle in quick time, and stopped at the overlook to snap a couple of quick photos. The Miner's Castle is a prime example of the erosion that has taken place along the lakeshore, and is a popular destination for North Country tourists. There is a little souvenir shop here, and fresh water. Trails lead down for a closer look of the sea stack and the beach. We stopped and ate a good lunch here, before tackling the beach and heading back up the hill to the Potato Patch campground, our final night before heading home. We gathered some attention from the trail-challenged older folks, and saw a group of exhausted teenagers flop up the hill at the end of the four days adventure.
